Need a little more drop
2004 stepside by the way. I have the DJM 2/4 drop but I want abought a 1 inch more drop in the back what have you guys done to get alittle more drop out of the back...Thanks

well you could do spring clamps to get a little more drop, but i hear that gives a kind of rough ride. also it doesn't drop it too much. it might be what you're looking for.
unfortunately if you need more than that, you might have to do a flip kit giving you 6 inches of drop, then put a 1 inch lift shackle netting you 5 inches of total drop.
or you could always throw **** in the bed.

either way though you're looking at spending more money.

Dude take out your rear overload spring. It took me about 30min. just take the U-Bolts out and remove the center pin and take it out and put it all back together. You get about and inch and it drives the same.

I took the overload out of my spring pack as well. It did give about 1" of drop but the axle wrap was so bad I ended up putting them back in and installed spring clamps. Doesn't give as much drop but doesn't have the problem with axle wrap. I agree with 02bluestepside about the flip kit and lifting shackles though; seems to be the best way to go IMO.

Can I ask what you mean by axle wrap?
