Need a new gear, help me choose a ratio
OK, the stock 3.23's were anemic before, butnow that I have the 285/70's they are downright pathetic. The converter unlocks going up overpasses, and a hill of any size has it kicked down into 3rd. I am running the equivalent of a 3.01 rear end right now
So, I'm thinking 3.73's, 3.90's, or 4.10's. They would be the equivalent of 3.48, 3.64, and 3.82 respectively on stock height tires. the 4.10's would be a no brainer, except for the 65 mile commute that I have every day. So, with mileage being an issue, but not the be all, end all, what do you guys think?
Any experience with before/after mileage numbers and seat of the pants feel would be great.
Thanks.

i would go with 4.10s. i personally just switched from 3.23s to 4.10s, all i have to say is WOW. with your 285's you should still be fine with your comute. 4.10s will equal out to a 3.73 with your tire size. perfect ratio for all around drivability.
