Between the 2 you picked I would get the Yank.

The clutch size in Yank converter is plenty for use in trucks and we do
not see any failures due to overloading the clutch.
the multi plate has a few things that I do not like,
but we do build and build and sell them

on the 4l60-e type of transmission the multi plates harsh lock-up will fail trans parts, as it has no absorbing effect when you hit a pot hole or run on a rough road surface (all the pounding action goes directly into the input shaft)and the steel to steel movement of the plates in the converter housing will cause small fine steel debris in the system and plug the screens and solinoids as they attract steel to them as they are electro magnets.

A single plate converter has no area to have metal to metal contact

also the extra 8-10 lbs of converter weight (due to the extra parts) will slow down accelaration

You won't be dissappointed Lance... when my truck was running my SS4000 was sweet. But I don't even think I got to break it in
