You will have to notch the frame, Not the bed. From what I have read it is better to go with the coils, leafs and sway bars for better handleing.

Default 2/4 Drop

I like this mild drop because i don't have to worry about bottoming out everywhere. I have had the super low drops before and I hate having to worry about speed bumps and all that.
