Chris, I'm using the TCI plate with the ARP M11 x 1.5 crank bolts without issue, so they should work in your application as well. If you do find that you need to go the hardware store route for the converter bolts, like I said you will want Grade 10.9 as they are basically the metric equilvalent of a Grade 8 standard bolt.

I agree your crank bolts should be fine. I don't recall if the TCI plate came with them or whether I ordered the ARPs separately.
The converter bolts you were using will be too short. Although the TCI plate is recessed slightly for the bolt heads, that area is still 6mm thicker than the 3mm plate you were using. So you will need bolts that are 6mm longer - add the thickness of the washer to this if you were not using washers before and need them now.
