Default Need shock suggestions, truck rides like a rigid covered wagon

Well my truck is lowered 2/4 Belltech drop kit (F: springs, R: hanger/shackle), it also has belltech street performance drop shocks which are about 1.5 years old (20k on them) and it rides like a freaking covered wagon. You feel every single bump in the road. I run a decent 60 series tire so i am not rolling on rubber bands... I am just curious what shocks other run with a 2/4 drop...

Also i do i have a cnotch so it is not hitting in the back. But i left the stock bump stops on the front, honestly i have never looked at them, i wonder if it is ridding on the bump stops?

Im still on the stock shocks at about 100k and it rides very smooth unless its a big bump but any normal one it is smooth, do those shocks ride better than your old ones?

Belltech Streetperformance and don't look back

the front stops should be just kissing the control arms, just kissing them. If it's too far off or on too hard your ride will suck. Look at shorter stops also by Belltech if necessary.

When I did my Hotchkis 2/4 drop, I installed the supplied shorter front bumpstops. Also, I'm running Edelbrock IAS shocks all around. They work as advertised and are softer when just cruising about, but they firm up as needed. I actually find them to be too soft over the rolling undulations in the road, but that's just me and how I like it to ride.

I'm doing the 2/4 or 2/5 drop on my truck this Saturday and I am going to try rolling stock shocks and see how they do, but I will be watching this thread to see what you guys are doing.

The stock shocks wallowed way too much for me. They couldn't handle the higher spring rates of the Hotchkis springs.

Mine rode good with stock shocks and a 2/4. And I unbolted my front bump stops when I lowered it.

It wouldn't take long to try them out. I'm pretty sure mine were stock OEM.
