Default Need Some Help With Driveshaft Vibe

Ok guys I got my 2/4 drop on and I have a slight driveshaft vibration under heavy acceleration. If I adjust my pinion angle will it go away or will I have to shim it? If it needs pinion shims can I get them at a parts store or do I have to order them? Thanks

I'd venture to say pinion angle adjustment to compensate for drop. Any competent driveline shop should be able to help with that. Angle finders are great tools.

If it's a Belltech drop there's a kit that you can order. I have it on mine and it works nicely.

it's most likely the pinion angle get and angle finder and check what the snout is point upwards at, should be 2-3* Adjust accordingly with shims, any lowering kit company should sell them.

It can be very complicated. With my drop I had to adjust the rear end pinion angle and adjust the height of the transmission to improve my vibration but it is still there. Ideally you get the working angles the same front and rear and about 1* is the goal.

Depending on the drop, you may or may not have to adjust both ends.

1 - 3 degrees is the tolerance.
