Default Need some tall sticky tires....

like the title says, I need some tall STICKY tires.
I need to stay above 30.5 inch high, 16 or 17 inch rim, but I'd rather use the 17's.
I've searched around a bit here. I can find a few posts about 255 50 16
I'd like drag radials, but slicks will work.....
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You might be able to get a set of 28x11.50-16 slicks for a good price ..

28 inch tall? If so that is too short.

The tallest I know of for a 16'' x 10'' wheel is the M&H cheater slick which is 30'' tall check out there web site.

Sticking with the 30.5" tire was impossible for me to go wide enough, but on a 16 inch rim you have some possibilities -- as long as it's a track only tire.

Call up M/T they were "suppose" to be coming out with a bunch of "truck" sized drag radials. They had one that was 30x12 IIRC.

the trailblazer ss i worked on with a 150 shot went 11.4@121 on 275 40 17 drag radials. Just wondering why do you need tall tires. You need to be higher up in the rpm range going threw the lights and 30.5 will be to tall. 275 50 17 would be a good way to go also with the m&H racemasters.
