Need Some Vette Servo Info?
I just installed a corvette servo kit on a friends truck:

And didn't seem to help. Now I installed this same kit on my truck and on my cousins truck but with the Sonnax Billet 4th sevrvo and works great. So whats the deal? Do we need to buy the b4th servo or is something else going on there? I told him he didn't need the 4th servo to notice a difference. Could I have been wrong? Thanks for the help guys. I gotta fix this he isn't out much but I still feel bad cuz its not noticable. Again thank you for any help.

The vette servo won't change the shift firmness as much as the Sonnax one does. Most people don't like the Sonnax b/c it'll have the trans jolt into 2nd gear pretty good during part throttle shifting. WOT is great. I want to say I read (or heard) somewhere that grinding the apply pin (ever so slightly) will help with that issue. Not 100% sure though. Look at the accumulator.

He wants it too shift really hard and firm like my cousins and mine. And it doest with just the vette servo only. To me it didnt help. And I too thought that the vette servo just affected the 1-2 shift and the billet 4th affected just the 3-4 shift. So now I dont know what to do. Thank yall for the info. I will tell him ehat all yall said and see what he thinks. Thanks again.

REGENCY! As far as the tg management goes we noticed a difference before we got our custome tunes. And you think that his huge wheel and tire package lol is the reason we cant feel a difference. TO ALL! It shifts fine, just like stock, so I dont think the accumulator piston is cracked. Could be wrong though.
