Default New rear end

Well my cousins truck blew up the rearend Sat. so I had to tow him home about 45 min. away. I told him 35" tires cant be good for a 3.42 rear end so I think now he is going to buy the 4.10's and the a new g80. I was wondering is there any gears to stay away from and which locker is the best.

My vote goes for the Strange or Richmond gears and Eaton or Detroit locker. Stay away from the G80 IMO.

i had problems with my g80 at 50k, i now have an eaton. I would rather run open diff than a g80 with those big tires he is asking for trouble with it.
