Thanks guys and where is this 9 second talk coming from?! Lol, big HP difference in 10.5 and 9.99 !! But since we are talking about it, I'd love a 10.5... My plan is to use the current HP that last time out ran four 10.8s. I want to see the direct difference with the tire/wheel swap. Then I will install the dbb 76mm/Q and run it at 20psi to see what she picks up.

Black lol, I really haven't added any HP, only making the truck more efficient. And ok, the speed bug may be back lol. It's getting to cool to go boating!! Plus I'd like to try to get in GM tech or hot rod magazine and I think I really needed a track setup and street.

I'm pretty excited to see the drops in time! I was talking with Ray down at Nelson Performance and when they substituted the 20s for the bogarts on their 408/91mm truck they broke into the 9's



Note: it's not Nelson's truck, he's a member on here I believe he goes by tarnitup

 

Bogarts were good for 3 ths... went from 10.4 to 10.1

Oh i know their is a big hp difference when talking 9s, thats why i mentioned the insane shot. But when you get your 10.5s you're wanting whats gonna keep that brain from thinking single digits and how to get there..?
One step at a time tho, get done you're mentioned plans and hooking up good and maybe you will be ready to stop, just maybe...

 

The next pass was a 10.04, then the next pass was a 9.84... Kept dialing in the truck

That's the same wheels I got except I got a 17" for the front. Still trying to decide on what tire I want to run on those. You don't expect any clearance issue with the leaf springs? My 29.5x10.50s are a tight fit on a 10" wheel
