ok now is that for traction or just a cheap way to lower?

if for traction how well does that work?

It is mostly to help prevent wheel hop but it might lower the truck slightly. I got maybe a 1/2" out of putting mine on. It works ok for being basically free, but if you are in grave need of traction, spring clamps probably won't suffice...

it was for traction...the looks was just a bonus. and seems to work pretty well...it is borderline to rough to stand though. i see caltracs and rear clamp removal in my future

i doubt (QUIK) that they would help much for your 400+ N/A monster...

i see, for wheel hop all i did was put a red uthrene bump stop in place of the tiny black plastic pad thta gm uses. in a way it works like a cheap slapper. when you load it up it pushes on the spring and prevents it from binding.
