Let us know how it works out for you. I have been pondering doing the same thing. I recently discovered I have a positive pinion angle so I am going to fix that and see what difference it makes with the Hotchkis leafs. I have my notches sitting on the work bench and I want to do the shock relocation as well. If that doesn't get me where I want to be, I will be doing the flip kit / Caltrac combo like you are doing.

BigKID, FWIW, I never had a different pinion angle after the Hotchkis install. I've been told their not the best for drag due to their deflection. But I want to handle & have a straight line warrior, so they stay. It's just whether I wanna get Caltracs & possibly make it ride more harsh over big bumps than now, & lower clearance out back during winter.
I'm not disputing they work, but if I can get past those items, I'd buy some.

my 91 came with caltracs but it's blowing the tire off on the spray.I thought about adjusting the preload but I'm not sure on longer or shorter and how much.I like your setup it's very simple and clean and should work well.will your fuel gauge work and how much was your tank?
