Default New Trans Cooler installed....

Well, I finally installed my trans-cool 28K transmission cooler. I replaced the factory "tiny" cooler that came with the towing package. Here in the south that thing just won't get the job done....especially towing the boat to the lake. Don't have a gauge but I'm certain this thing is making a difference....It's a tru-cool 4590 and about $85 for it.

Looks good. I've got the 40k sitting on my floor right now, just need some time to get it installed.

Absolutely no need! Why? Cause the PT bandwagon says so? For my setup and many others that 40k is not needed. My trucks usual trans temp is around 155*-175* here in Southern California and I dont think I've ever seen more than 185*. This is with the trans cooler above, tt3000 and stock trans pan.

Should bend up some hard lines. The rubber looks kinda sketchy.

Ive never seen over 125* with my 40k in 100* weather..no you Dont really need it, Just keeps things a little cooler and we all know heat is a big part in what kills these 60E's.
