Default New Transmission or Rebuild the one i got

okay guys this is the deal...
I got an 04 rcSB 2x4 1500 silverado 5.3 automaic 4sp stock don't know wtf it is.
I plan on putting 500+hp and torque at the engine.
How much will my stock trans hold before it blows?
I'm pushing around 350 to 380 at the wheels now not sure exactly i have full length headers and a procharge and 46lb injectors and true duals that's about it and a custom programer.

I've been told to go with a FLT Extreme Duty Level 5 Transmission for about
3000. Should i do that

Or Rebuild mine with a good kit. and what's the best kit i can get that will handle that power. I have a freind in school thats going to study transmissions next semester in school and maybe i can get him to rebuild it for practice in class with his instructers help of course all i do is buy parts?

Level 5 65E or a stock 80E with a shift kit should do it for you.
