Default Newer tranfercase in older truck??

Hey guys, I am going to be getting my truck back on the road and taking a few shortcuts I didn't want to but I just need it now.

Anyway to cut to the point I trashed my transfercase with cool grinding sounds and all with recently the hole happened and fluid leaks everywhere.

So will a push button transfercase from a 2003 Silvy work in my 2000? More importantly how do I connect it and get it to function because my current one is a floor shift. I would get another floor shift but this guy wants $400 WITH 2 good condition doors and I would like to get the push button as well.

Any thoughts or ideas guys?
