No 4th, then no 3rd!!
Well been having issue with trk for few weeks. At about 75mph, the rpms are at 2000, when i barely hit the accelerator the rpms jump to about 2600, (never used to jump that high). The rpms would elevate even with the cruise control on. All electrcial connections are fine at the tranny so I'd thought i would put the stock pcm in, hoping it was just the tune. Trk was doing the same rpm fluctuation but on the way home, I lost 4th gear, then 3rd gear. I ended up in 2nd on the freeway ******* it home. Any feedback?

performabuilt or FLT will do you right. Alot of people shop around local to save some $$, it doesnt always turn out well.
Site note: I feel my band slipping in mine. Going to pop it out in a few weeks and shove a new band and some blue plate special 3-4 clutches in it and close it back up.

As said above if you do not have a good trans. shop that you trust can build you what you need, then look at Performabuilt or Finish Line Trans.(FLT) they are both sponsors and build some pretty stout transmissions.

Mine did something similar to that. Went to pass this semi that felt the need to pull right out in front of me a 1/4 mile or so down the road. Dipped into the throttle and kicked it down to 3rd, went around him, hit resume and the tach jumped up to 5 grand in an instant. That was that. Using manual 3rd gear will cause the overrun clutch to come on and if you drive it easy you can get by for a while like that. Its only a 2 plate clutch and was not meant to bare the torque of the engine but it will for a while. I drove mine for 3 months like that and I just let almost completely off the gas going into 3rd and slowly got back on it and it was fine. The overrun clutch did start to slip too but between it and the 3-4 clutch pack there was still enough holding to not be slipping once in 3rd and driving.
