Default No forward or reverse

So I'm on an on ramp this morning accelerating normally and my truck just starts free revving. I didn't hear any noises but I now have no forward or reverse gears. Park still works but that's it; I'm guessing the pump went out or could it be something else?

That's what I'm thinking. I have less than 100 miles on it too

I just finished building it up and put it in; it was a used 4L65e. I never did get any sound clips of the exhaust.

Can you tell anything by checking the fluid? Its still red and clear but the level seems really high.

Usually when the sunshell goes, you lose 1st and reverse.

Could it be a torque converter failure? Seems like it'd act the same way. I'm going to pull a cooler line tonight and see if the pump still works.

its possible the stator broke or something. since the fluid is high the pump probably isnt circulating it.

Looks like its the pump. I just pulled a cooler line and ran the engine.........no circulation. Looks like I need to call Vince and Chuck.
