Yes a locking differential would help you out significantly. I'm running a truetrac in mine with no issues at all.

^^ Along with some different rims/tires. Not much side wall on 20" tires to allow it to "bite". Also Caltracs or other forms of traction bars would help.

a locker will cure a lot of that issue even on 20s. also you cant just flat foot it on a street tire, you need to roll in it a tad harder until you find that sweet spot for traction from a dig.

i race on 20s at the track and on the street, i can make them spin, or not spin

Hahahaha that makes sense feel like a doe doe right now hahaha
I first tryed a brake launch from 1700rpms spun all the way, then tried no break launch and just floored it same results. How are these FI 500+rwhp/tq guys hooking up on stock wheels and tires? The 20's have an 8.5" tire width from edge to edge that makes contact with the ground

Is a locking differential both tires always spin the same,,, or the driver tire "locks up and spins when traction is need"?

When I got stuck in mud a while back both wheels spin the same, but when I floor it just one wheel spins. < what is this called?

You have a limited slip basically its a pos and under load it only spins 1 wheel. A locker is "dual wheel engagement" that makes both wheels spin the same allowing for better traction from a dig, launch, stuck stand point.

The "flat foot" with one wheel peel is the issue. It is flashing the converter and allowing for "more slip" then that shocks the rear end and causes it to "unload"

I like tru-trac. I trust them more than the yukon value lock or w.e. also the eaton is a clutch design = just like the g80
