The braces probably tightened up the slop in the steering, and changed the clearances

The brace I put on looks like it would have probably fit ether one but I happened to have started with the pitman arm so yeah.

When I get the correct idler brace if the sway bar is in the way I will just fab up somthing real quick to make it work.

The correct idler brace fit perfect Steering feels so much better! But I did notice somthing weird with my steering wheel it feels like its right at the column Ill try to get a video hard to explain.

Dropping truck off monday the 11th to get the brace built and the bracket welded on the housing. Gonna try to swing by the powder coater this week if I get a chance.

Did get the TA girdle installed finally looks freaking great! And got to break out a torque wrench for the first time in a long time. I was kinda confused tho. When filling I filled from the fill port on the cover and had the full port open on the side of the housing and was going to fill until it leaked out. well after 3 qaurts of mobile 1 I decided to do some research. Found alot of people saying after 05 GM changed somthing and recommeneds filling until 25-35mm from the full port. or until U can stick your finger in the hold angle it down and come out wet . 3 quarts seems like alot to me seeing as stock is only about 2 and the girdle is only supposed to add .5.

Was earlier than that wanna say 02 or 03 they started with the 25-35 below the fill hole.... I usually put about 3qts in because very rarely do you get it all out of the bottle, but it had something to do with good be the fluid room to move and the ckutches in the g80

Grrr I hate things that arent exact makes my ocd mad! Also noticed that the springs on my lsd are purple. Thought that was kinda weird for an oem part but I googled it and I think they may have replaced it with a yukon dura grip.

I have the Cognito braces and upper a arms and I love them. 30k + with no problems. I have aftermarket keys turned up and Tuff Country (?) shocks on 305/65/17 BFG AT's and I love the ride and handling.

Oh yeah I agree! I can hit a bump while on a turn and its just smooth and sturdy. took it down a little urban off roading area by my house yesterday and it felt so much better really looking forward to getting the coilovers I think the next biggest upgrade will be ditching these lame torsion bars!
