I just finished reading through all 103 pages and it seems like some people talk about running or ordering one, but I didn't see a definitive, "Yes, here's a part number" type thing.
You need a measure to see if you need a shim. I used on and it was still at the top of of the spec. My flywheel was thinner than recommended.

Anyone have a tune file for a T56 swap truck? I'm curious how you are setting them up. I've been comparing a stock F-body tune to a stock GMT800 tune. Do we need to trick the PCM into thinking the truck is in gear, or do we change the tune completely to a manual tune?

I changed mine to a manual tune, I was stupid when i did it though

I should of just updated the tune i had. v6 5 speed

But instead i put an 8.1 tune i could get in it instead, which was an auto

I may put the stock tune back in it and modify it. since i have access to a tech 2 again

Just gotta pay jet for another vin on my cable

Yes the 06 crossmember will work

depends on the truck, best thing to do is measure yours height width etc and check. If i was back from deployment i would measure mine. I didnt know they made a 5 speed 2500 truck.

Are there different OS's for manual vs. auto? I noticed the manual f-body tune still had provisions to vary parameters by gear, but the values didn't change between gears.

Check out the 2004 GTO manual/auto lots of differences. I believe they use cable too so maybe they could help you with your 01?

I'm looking for sorta the same thing. If anybody could hook it up with a tune for this vin that would be super helpful!!! 1GCHK29U24E103332

Should decode to a 2004 Silverado LQ4 DBW manual transmission.

I'm trying to work the bugs out of mine and think this could help.

Does anyone know where the GM quick disconnect fitting is on the truck master-slave line? Example, on F-body's it's AT the slave/in the bellhousing...I've seen a few different pictures of truck setups, some have the fitting at the master, and others seem to have it like F-bodys...any insight on this??
I'm wondering if I have to wait for my GMP order to come in and press the pin out and put the line/press pin back into the slave with the truck line and connect it at the master.....orrrrr if I can just put the stock F-body quick disconnect fitting back on the slave and plug the line in on Tuesday when my GMP order gets in. Currently running a custom -4AN setup from a Wilwood master in the racecar, but will be using a stock truck master in the truck project (pulling MPT70'd 6.0l and T56 out of backup racecar shell and putting into RCSB).

Thanks for the info on the shim/slave stuff guys. I've been running the same clutch in both my racecars on stock fbody slaves with no shims so I'm gonna give it a shot in the truck as is and see if the stock truck master works well enough. It's a lot easier pulling the trans in the truck than in one of the S13's haha.
