Well i picked up the Clutch Pedal durning lunch, local Chevy had it for $60.00... Damn this thing if Hucking Fuge! It's going to fun to mount it in the truck, i think i may have to relocate some stuff... BUT, I will make the beyotch work because i am way to excited about doing this conversion... And I willt ake lots of pictures for everyone, I will create and Thread for the NV4500 swap once I start that actual project...

It would be a big help if someone could just post a pic of the under dash and firewall side of their installed pedal... :-)

OK, while waiting for pics from the others i checked out my trucks underdash area and I DO have the spot to mount the pedal (much to my surprise... BUT, I do not see any the Mastercylinder with mount under the hood due to stuff in the way...??? Maybe I have to relocate the little black box looking thing next to the Brake Booster?

Here are some pics...

Well, It is going have to get moved whether it wants to or not... Actually i am looking at doing the Hydro Boost Brake swap so, between that and moving the TAC moduale I should be able to fit the Clutch pedal parts in place.

You are going to have to relocate that. Once it's moved, you'll see/feel a dimple in the firewall. That's the center point where you need to drill a hole for the master cylinder. Underneath the dash, that perforated circle needs to be removed, because that's where the master sits.

AHA!!! Thats what I was hoping someone would say... I still want to do the Hydro Brake Booster but, if I don't have to do it to install the Clutch/Master for new Transmission then thats all the better!

Thanks VG!

wow, great read, lots of good quality info! anyone know if an obs 5 spd crossmember would work with a t56 or if the nbs crossmember is close enough to be a cut to fit application? lol ive got access to a plasma cutter and can weld if its remotely close. also has anyone ever done ANY sort of auto -> manual swap in an obs? ie so they know where to punch the hole in the firewall? i wonder what year gm started the dimple thing... haha. i think ive secured a solid t56 for 600 bucks so im going to try and put it in behind my 6.0 here shortly if the budget allows. tyia.
