Official A4 to M6 (T-56) Thread!

I did a quick search of this thread and didn't see anything on it so I'll ask, Can/how would it be different for a truck with a 4.3? I would like ot build a turbo 4.3 (I know I know, v-8 swap FTW) mainly to be different around here. I've always wanted to build a turbo 4.3 for a full size or s-10 but I wanna put the 6 speed behind it because, well lets face it, it's a lot more fun then putting it in "D" and going. What would be different to do this swap to a 4.3? Is it possible at all?

Yes you can actually. I would recommend finding a earlier 1 piece seal flywheel for a 98 v8 truck. you will notice a surface area width difference between yours. And use a center force clutch. You will need a quick time bellhousing and reuse factory ls1 slave I would recommend a bigger bore master cylinder since I am having an issue with mine and mcleod recommend a bore size which is bigger then my current master cylinder on my 04.
Shoot me an email edward.coss@gmail.com
I had the factory v6 5 speed behind a big block and now i have the 6 speed

I gotta say that Quik's wiring solution is one of the most confusing things I've ever read. Can somebody explain this?
I'm gearing up to do this on a 03' w/ DBW. I have relocated the box covering the master cylinder. Trying to figure out this wiring thing before I go ***** deep.

cut your black box out and do this...

PIN C & B are tied together when selector is in park
PIN C & F are for reverse lights
PIN G & E are for neutral safety switch
for PIN A its just a capped off wire that isnt in the harness [atleast for my 02 its not]
PIN D seems to be tied into the smaller plug for the black box
so tomorrow i plan on connecting the PINK [c] & Lt Grn [b] together so i have a complete circuit
and see where that gets me.
its only a matter of a few wires before i figure this out for everyone
yes the above is correct
also the black [ground that is on the larger plug is the ground for the smaller plug. when in part all 4 wires of the small plug are connected along with ground
i took all 4 + ground and just solderd them together
and i took the 2 for the Neutral switch and took the to the clutch pedal
then i took the Ignition 1 wire and the Park/neutral signal wire and connected them together and also tapped off these two and ran the wire for Reverse lights to the trans
then connected the other green to the plug for the reverse for the trans
i did crank the truck over without the Park/neutral signal connected. but i went ahead and wired the rest of it up anyways just to be safe. since thats how the black box reads in park
