I have read through this thing 2,3, or 4 times. Has anyone had to relocate the electrical box that would be below the clutch pedal?

I don't know if I'm just overlooking it when I'm scanning through or what, but I can't seem to find the reason to get the 98+ T56 vice the earlier ones.

What have you guys been spending on you T56's? I found one near me, $1600 from a GTO, looks really clean, no mileage though.

Aren't the GTO T56's preferred since they have better gearing for trucks?

I would try and find one from a trans am or camaro there are plenty out there and shipping is not that bad when you do it via truck freight. Also I would try Craigslist lots of great deals there. Plus for that money you can get trans clutch and most parts needed to just bolt it right in your vehicle.

Depends on what you need for gearing, but you will have to change the tailshaft etc because they use those rubber donut u joints. I need a lower numerical gear set for mine due to the torque i make, 1st is useless. If you got the jack and want to save yourself the headache get a magnum and you can pick you gearing and shifter location
