the actual vss, vehicle speed sensor, is on the trans. The extra plug you needed can be found at a junk yard, its pretty common, or a website somewhere on here.... i will see if i can find it.

I just cut my pins for the PCM end of the harness and my VSS plug off of an old harness laying around at a local speed shop that had been chopped up already. I'd hit up a junkyard or your local shop if I were you.

oh, I picked up my dipstick and misc parts from PATC Transmission Center just because they had everything I needed except for my Flexplate, Spacer and Bolts. It comes as a kit GM part# 12621399. I went with ARP TC bolts.

good luck with the swap man... truck sure looked fast at byram the other night too..! and can i ask where did you find that used 80e at? my trans is starting to feel wierd so i might be doing a swap too! lol
