OK bent axle or bad bearing.. Help Help...
Today I was with my dad he was driving. I noticed my wheel. It looked bent.when we got home I put it upon the lift ,put it into gear. The wheel moved all over the place. Now whats up with it. Is the axle bent or does these new rears have axle bearing on the ends. It is not a bent rim. Has anyone ever had this happen. Would this be covered under waranty. any info would be great. I figured if the axle was bent the wheel would be moving all the time. I can move it up ,down in ect. help please

I checked all that out. It defently isn't a loose wheel or bent rim. I can move the entire rotor wheel and everything in the housing. I can't tell any difference in ride. I know it sounds strange, but I don't. Does these new rears use bearings at the ends or are they the same as old chevy rears with the c clips..

They have bearings at the end of the rear housing. Could be a broke axle and the brake caliper is holding it in. All you have to do is take the caliper off with 2 12MM bolts and the 2 that hold the caliper bracket off with an 18MM. When you get them off just tugg on the axle if it is broke it sould come right out.If it doesn't come out look at the flange see if it is straight.Move it up and down and around to see if you have movement in the bearing. If it is the bearing that should be covered under warranty.Hope this helps.

Thanks SKIPPER. I dunno if it is a broke axle because the wheel still spins, it just has a helluv a wobble to it. I am defently thinking the bearing took a ****.
