Default Old 80e

Well I have this 80e that came out of a 2000 454 3500 truck will this trans work on my 99nbs Silverado it has n 05 80e in it now that's bout done thanks in advance

Does it have the very top ear drilled for a mounting bolt? Are the tranny lines spaced out like the 05? If yes, then it will work.

I think I've read anything 93+? and up will work, 99+ have the extra ear that matches the LS block, and 05+ have some internal differences that some prefer, and some don't.

It does have the top ear and cooler lines are the same

It will work just fine. Even if it didn't have the top ear. I believe 96 up all use the same cooler line configuration.
