Default older 4l80e swap into 01 sierra ??

i am swapping in a 96 4l80e with hd2 shift kit into a 2001 ecsb sierra behind a cammed 5.3. i already ordered a circle d tq converter for the swap but still need to find a crossmember. my question is about the nss on the side of the trans. the older 80e dosnt have the nss or a place to bolt it in. i know i can just bypass it and i will if i have to but is there a bracket or something i can get that will bolt the nss from my 60e to the 80e so i an use it? Question #2, i have heard that the new version of hp tuners you can do the segment swap yourself but im not exactly sure how to do it. is it just a matter of selecting 4l80e from the drop down or is there something else involved?

I do have the tubular crossmember a needed for your swap. I had 95' in my 2000 truck and had no issues. You'll have to do a 4l80e segment swap in the tune.

You have to swap out the shift lever shaft to the the newer longer shaft that allows the NSS room to bolt up.

I'm just going to cut my stock crossmember. I know I have to do a segment swap but I think with the new version on hp tuners I can do it myself I'm just not sure how to do it exactly. I am also working on something pretty trick to mount the nss and make it work. If I works I wI'll do a write up on it.
