one piece drive shaft for ecsb

nothing wrong with the 2 piece i have beside i need to change carrier bearing and while im at it im going to change u-joints. the single drive shaft was ujust a thoght that popped up in my head and was curious. thanks for all the info, im gonna keep my current drive shaft. thanks to all that replied.

The CCSB and the ECSB are the exact same length. The one piece aluminum is fine for stock, but with the length and factory balance they are unstable at high speeds. Unless you go the route Atomic did and have one custom made you will actually be down grading and will probably need to weld in another lateral brace to make up for cutting out the factory carrier bearing crossmember for clearance. In Atomic's application (aside from it being .125” wall vs the factory .0825”) it should be a little shorter as well due to the transfer case. I called a few shops in the area only to find that they could not make one that long. From what I remember it was like 83” long.
