Yep. They are a 50k mile highway tire. Not much of a performance tire. I do not like the way they behave in the rain.

*not slamming you Naked, just supporting.

I agree 110% with everyone else here that says those things are horrible. The rain does make them dangerous. I took them off my truck and replaced them with a set of Hankook's. I like them a lot better, and they were about the same price.

Someone mentioned Kumho's earlier, and I second that. That is if you can find a Kumho ECSTA in the size you want. I am VERY happy with mine.

I've had both sets of tires. On my tahoe I had the GTII in 275-45-20, the traction does suck, I only got them cause they were cheap, I would never buy them again. My new truck came with Eagle LS 275-55-20, they're nice tires, but again traction isn't that great, but its better then the GTII. I have noticed that the LS tires do not wear as well as the GTII tires, the tires have about 15,000 miles on them and my rear tires maybe have 5,000 miles left on them, but I have a heavy right foot

I don't think I would go with either of these tires again, but if I had to choose between the two I would go with the Eagle LS.

Well, I might be able to get Goodyears at a really good price, and I would only have them on in the late spring to early fall so wet traction isnt a huge issue.
But....
After reading all this I might just spend the extra cash on some Kuhmo's or something else. I had Eagle RS-A's on a car of mine, and they also sucked accelerating in the rain.

Yeah, but I have a couple of friends at Goodyear dealerships, so that would be where the money savings would come in.
