Default opinions for rear leafs

Well guys my rear leaf springs are shot, my truck is bouncing and bottoming out when I run over ants haha and wheel hopping/ axle wrapping horriblely.

The stealership wants 500 bucks for the set for new ones, but my question is whats the best route to go? my truck has a flipkit that I'm not really a fan or anymore, I want to keep it the same ride hight but I'm not really sure of the flipkit is the best for ride quality and performance.

Is there any other companies yall would suggest checking with for leafs? Or am I still looking to spend around 500 for them?

Buy a used set from a junkyard.

Are you sure its the leaf springs that are bad? Sounds like worn out shocks to me.

well I was going to do that but not wanting to chance getting a set thats just as bad as mine or some that will be weak like mine after a few months

Thats the only other thing I can think, I dont believe it could be my shocks cause they are brand new Belltech's that have only been on the truck since Friday

I've installed two sets of belltech shocks that were bad out of the box. Pick you up some cheap O replacements from the parts house and see if that helps. Take them off and see how easily they compress and rebound. They should be stiff as hell if they're drop shocks.

yea they are the Street performance drop shocks, I've got them off and them seem stiff-ish, I would think they would be stiffer , I can hold each end in my hands and collapse them, and I'm by no means strong haha so I'm going to try some cheap monroe's and see if that helps

I would do that first before you go replacing leaf springs and end up having the same problems.
