opinions on swaping 3.42 to 3.23 for better mpg?

That, & the fact when I was under my truck, I see I need a pinion seal anyway, While in there...
I already have my install kit, Truetrac, but ever since this thread started, especially their comments about gas mileage & 3.73s not suffering, the more I see it, the more I keep thinkin.

I could get the 3.73s in a wk. so it goes on my next statement.
Then have everything put in, when I can afford to get installed.

I was gonna wait til next Mon. to check on price for gears & how much a shop wants to install. I'm thinklin $200 for 3.73s, & then about $250-300 for installation. See ya, I gotta make some callls.

I believe the make kits for do it yourselfers could save you 2-300 but im probably going to pay someone lol since im scared of not getting everything lined up perfectly
