Default Ordered drop kit FINALLY, Got a few questions....

So here is the truck as it sits right now with 2" drop shackles......

I just ordered some McGaughy's 2" drop spindles, 2" drop hangers and a set of Beltech SP shocks. I also got a set of new tires (stock silverado ss good years) and am getting the SS wheels coated in semi-gloss black.

The truck just ticked over the 75,000 mile mark and I am wondering if I should plan on replacing the ball joints and the hub assemblies when I install the spindles?

Also any opinions on the soon to come updates are welcome!

Check them for play. If they're fine you can put it off for a bit. All the front end parts add up if you plan to replace them with good stuff. But if budget allows then you can change them.

Gonna look good with the drop on there.

If you have the money, you might as well replace them since you're already doing half the work to replace them.

Mine is 2/4 with 285/50R20's, basically the tallest tire you can run with this drop. I rub a tiny bit on the sway bar in the front at full lock.

What do you mean by 2wd spindles? All the 17+ mcgaughy spindles are the same and fit 2wd and 4wd. or did they send you 16+ spindles?

Yep, they sent me the 16'' part # 2000C for 2wd trucks !

I had to go on McGaughys website and tell them the correct part # i needed ( 33004) . This pissed me off, they should know what the hell they are selling. Stylins' customer service sucks. They dont even stock the parts, they drop ship, I should have bought from Summit Racing and will next time.

The part that infuriates me is they wont send me out the correct set of spindles untill they recieve the incorrect set back., So im screwed for another week, My truck is tore down on my lift and is stuck there for now.
