Thumbs up Ordered a Precision Industries Vigilante converter

Vigilante Torque Converters | Precision Industries

4L60E 10.5" Multi-Disc Lock-Up 3000 stall. I am replacing a FTI 3000 single disk. The truck is making about 140 more rwhp than I planned and think I might be over powering the medium duty FTI unit. I also locked it on the Dyno. I'd be surprised if there is a change in ET or MPH at the track but the daily abuse, 18-20K miles a year and light towing should be covered with the high quality converter.

Heavy truck with good power deserves a ~$1200 converter.

Any reason you didn't let FTI build you a triple disk?

Loved my Precision ML in my built LMM Duramax. Lockup wasn't bad and it coupled very well with minimal added heat. They build a quality product.

I've been running a PI 3200 for about 10 years without any issues. I don't like the chatter in park/neutral, but they told me it was normal and never had any issues as a result of it.
