Default Out of balance driveshaft??

Have a 08 v-max 6.0 At 90 mph i start to feel a mild resonating vibration, then it intensifies up to 100 mph, feel as though it's coming from under the center of the truck. I have a large one pc aluminum driveshaft. Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be a unbalanced Drivshaft?

Yes it could be the drive shaft, but it could also be a lot of other things rotating right along with it.

Any suspension modifications? Drops are notorious for introducing vibs. Changes drive-line angles.

mine does the same thing. but when i hit 100mph the driveline let go. even after having the dealership put a new one on, it still does it. 90 is as fast as i wanna go w/ that aluminum POS on there. i wouldnt test it any farther. if it starts vibrating at 90 dont push it hoping it goes away. thats what i did and it was on hell of a scary ride.

crewcab driveshafts have a tendancy to vibrate worse and die on you...maybe because its a little longer than ext cab driveshafts...

Call Belltech. They have an alignment kit that will center the driveshaft. I have one on my ride. Noticed the same thing when we dropped to the 2/4.

Yes, I did put two drop shackles on the rear, but it vibratated before that, actually i noticed it when it was brand new. I don't usally drive that fast anyway but sometimes when passing i can hit 95 before you know it and then you really know it. I have a driveshaft shop not far that will check it out
& rebalance if needed for $75.00. or i can buy a high performance one for around $300.00 hate to do that if ends up not being what i think it is.

That kit is adjustable. It's worth the money.

My truck had a vibration in it with the stock tranny/driveshaft when I would hit around 100 mph, when I swapped over to the 85e, I noticed that the stock tranny mount had broken.
