overload removal and 2/4 drop help
I have a 2/4 on the truck right now and I want to remove the overload spring from the leaf pack. Will I need to c-notch the fram after removing the overload springs? I am not worried about street driving just 1/4 mile driving. Also to add I have cal tracs and shocks for the drop.

this is the only reason I bring up concern, my truck even with the 2/4 could use to come down a inch in the rear to even up. Im just wonder if 5 in worth of drop will be to much with out a notch

after putting fresh leafs on mine and short poly bumpstops I gained probably another inch of travel back. it may or may not fix my bottoming out problem on launch but with my long bars set right it doesnt squat much anyway.
your cal-tracs "should" lift the rear of the truck when you put the power to them. so I'd say no notch would be needed for you. I would however, order you some poly bumpstops... The ones I got from energy suspension were like $15
Id try trimming the front of your overload off (where its contacting the bar) if anything. And I'd also correctly shim the pinion, loading the bars one way or another to correct your angle wont allow you to adjust them properly IMO.
