Owners of FLT Transmissions...
What level transmission are you running? What is your appx torque/hp? What rpms are you WOT shifting? How many miles do you have on your transmission and have you had any issues (transmission relate)?
I need to upgrade due to the recent cammed motor swap.

ive got as level 4, it is a huge improvement over stock. ive had it on for probably 8K miles no problems vince said it was the heads and cam trans and a level 5 is a power adder trans. i however and going to hate to see it go when i upgrade to a 4l80e soon
i would only buy and FLT trans. if you do a search look and see how many peoples so called built trans have crapped out on them, then do a search on FLT and see how satisfied everyone is. just my opion.

Level 5 4L65E
approx 475 rwhp-525 rwtq on a 150 shot
I'm shifting at 6800RPM 1-2 and 6400 RPM 2-3 at WOT
I've only got about 5K miles on mine. I drive it every day. The only problem I've had was with my old PI converter that took a dump and killed the front pump. I sent it back to FLT, and bought a brand new Yank SS3600 and have had ZERO issues since.
I would never hesitate to do it all over again... The money is well worth the product you get.

I believe I have a level 4 4L60e that I have almost 50K on it. I've only got bolt-ons so no huge HP. I also have a PI 2400 (I tow quite a bit). My tune has 0 torque management and the 1-2 shift is firm enough to bark the tires. I routinely pound on mine with no issues. I also tow about 5000lbs about 3000 miles per year. I'm at 194K (total miles).
Chuck's shop is about a 1/4 mile from my business and I have been VERY impressed with their quality and their standing behind their product. I will DEFINITELY use them again on my next GM
