why would a converter blow your tranny?
did it come apart, or not engauge the front pump properly?

the lining on the lock up clutch came off. i am not a tranny expert and dont know for sure what took what out but after smoking the tranny/converter many people say a 9.5" single disk converter should not have been used on my set up. that is the converter yank recomended and they told me i could lock it up.

the bigest proplem i had with yank is mike always tried to turn things around to be my fault, he was actualy angry and yelling at me at more than one point. it is a long story but like i said i wont be going with them again.

on the flip side, i really liked their tt3000 and still recomend it to many people. i hear they have more help and that their customer service has improved..
