parking neutral safety switch???

parking neutral safety switch???
well alot of people know my situation now with my truck not starting and what not, anyways when i took the truck to HPE to try to get fixed, they mentioned that the neutral safety switch was messed up but they said that they were able to fix it. now when i am in D and i put the truck in Reverse, the truck will go in reverse but the light on the dash will say im in neutral. IT DID NOT DO THIS this before i took the truck to HPE. now my question is is the safety switch messed up now and if so, how do i fix it?

you need to loosen the 2 bolts that hold it on the trans. and rotate the bracket to the left or the right. the slots where the bolt go are big enough to do this.
