Default Performabuilt 4l60e

Hey guys I am looking at replacing my tranny in my 02 silverad 1500 Z71, I mostly use my truck for daily driving, work on a ranch and hunting. sometimes I go to the drag strip and toy around and occasionally go off roading. currently the truck has simple bolt ons and a super chip tune. down the road i am want to look at adding a power adder. I have been looking at the performabuilt trannys and was wanting all of your opinions on what of these three options would be the best. the Level two Performance race tranny, heavy duty/haul tranny, or the extreme offroad tranny.

along with that what torque converter would be the best option.

any input would be welcome
thanks

It all depends on how much power you plan on adding.I have the level 1 performabuilt trans with all my mods and its holding up great so far.give them a call and explain what you plan on doing with your truck.

I just finished putting a PB Lvl 2 in mine and love it. I added a 2500 stall from Performabuilt to the mix and couldn't be happier! The trans shifts very quick and solid. The 2500 stall drives almost stock when under light throttle.

I have a level 3 in mine, it handled my 408/tvs1900 with ease. I am going with them for my 80e when I do that.

I'm running their Heavy Hauler, lev3, 1K hp rated 4l80e and couldn't be happier! I didn't want to do a tranny again! I've beat on my truck with 17psi of boost and tranny had held up great! I'm running a Circle D 278mm, 1A, multi-disk converter.
