Default Performabuilt couldn't take it

So.... I'm doing a 60 roll with my buddy's Evo VIII, which puts down 340 hp and 340 tq. Anyway trans shifted into third then boom! Coasted to the side of the highway, tried going into reverse and into forward gears and nothing.
Looked under the truck and no fluids leaking. Called the tow truck to tow me back to my dealership and this whole time is hot as *****!

Called performabuilt and they said call back on Tuesday and they will take care of me. Trans is still under warranty since I got it last winter and may be I put like 5k miles on it. I'm going to see if I could upgrade to a level 3 since the level two left me stranded on the side of the road!

I'm glad I went with a company that's backs up their product!

I will update this thread on Tuesday when I call back and see how the process go

I typed this on my iPhone sorry if it seems a little choppy

**I didn't make this thread to bash on a good company or anything like that, I'm just posting my experience.

Don't know the numbers but it's just an LQ9 with intake, exhaust and tune. Pretty basic I think

Your power is not what broke the tranny so stepping up to a lvl3 would be moot. Now if you plan on some serious mods then maybe so.

Were you shifting manuel or letting the pcm shift?

I understand that parts break some deffinate variables are involved here......The point was lvl2's have handled as much or more on a consistant basis.Sooo stepping it up jus dosent make since too support a bolt on lq9.Frank will have to determine weather it was built wrong or parts failure.Im gonna try to help the guy if it was possible user error or tunning.
I should have clairified this.
Btw..It sounds like the pump exploded to me but that remains to be seen.

Your right, I'll have to wait and see exactly what broke, which in reality it could have been something minor.

I was letting the tranny do the work and wasn't shifting manually.

Wheatley is the tuner and he was informed of the Performabuilt tranny so he adjusted accordingly.

I'll take the tranny out on tuesday and we'll go from there.

What would case a pump to explode? Clearances?

Fluid was in good condition, still red but with a slight burnt smell
