Its not a stupid question......Trust me I understand. I got tired of replacing my OEM rebuilds. My current LVL2 is the third trans I have had in this thing. Each oem lasted about 100,000 miles but NONE of them worked right. They would either feel like they shifted into 2nd twice, slipping under WOT at highway speeds or sticking in 2nd when I came to a stop. So when my second oem trans failed I figured it was time to buy a real one. You won't be disapointed. This thing works perfectly!

I am running a level 3 just for the peace of mind....I did blow up my converter and it took out my first level 3 but has been running great for over 3 yrs since it was replaced under warranty by performabuilt.
