Default performabuilt torque converters?

I'm fixing to order a lvl2 for my z71 and was wondering about the billet 10.5 converters that you can get with them. I would really like to have that extra year of warranty just because my luck is so awesome. But I was looking at the 10.5" in around a 3600 stall. Anyone running these converter have any feedback on them? I'm just wondering how they compare to say circle D or yank?

Thanx for any help fellas can't wait to get the turd moving again

I would get it for the extra year warranty. A friend of mine has one and it's alot looser then it's rated, but his is the 9.5" though.

Yea the 9.5 would be a couple hundred bucks less but since I'm already spending the coin for the trans might as well not cheap out and get the better converter too... I def want the extra year of warranty I was just wondering how ppl like them and if they were really loose/tight or what. Thanx

I just ordered my PerformaBuilt level 2 4L60E today from Frank, and I couldn't justify the extra cost for the converter (for the stall I needed), despite the extra year warranty. instead I ordered a new 2800rpm 10" stall converter from a local trans manufacturer for $300. But I'm really excited to get the performabuilt trans in the truck

Well all the converters I have been looking at are like 725-1000 and might as well go with his if it will give me another year of warranty...

I have had my lvl 2 with 10.5" billet converter 3400 for about a month now! It was night and day compared to my stock tranny with shift kit and 3k stall. It shifts so much better! When it shifts you can feel it holding the power instead of it slipping! Only bad thing.... It caused my traction issue to get worse! Performabuilt = BADASS!

idunno whats in my future... but mostly i wanna do this just for the extra year of warranty... i would like to one day build a 6.0 or a boosted 5.3 but it wont happen this year seems as ive spent more in repairs(upgrades) so far this year than i owe on the truck

how much extra is it added on to the trans? blackgmc has one that when from 3000-3200 to 3600+ when he did his head swap. I think it was 2800ish from performabuilt. but it works!
