I'm going to get a Circle D myself, a very reputable source told me that they've been seeing a lot of PI's breaking at the hub recently. Plus, Circle D "dares you to break it"

Man I have been seeing people run new personal best just from swapping to circle-d! They are putting out some badass converters. bluecajun5.3 ran a p/b of 12.3 or 12.4 swapping from yank 3600(I think) to a circle-d. I would have went with them if I have'nt got a deal on mine. I wonder if there trannies are as good as ther verters.

yeah like budhayes said go with a Circle D heard a lot of good things about them plus i hear that the PI's are very loose so if you get a 3200 its more like a 3600 or a 3800 but i hear that the Circle D's are pretty tight so thats a good thing if you plan on daily driving with a big stall i have a yank and i kinda wish i went with a Circle D

If PI is loose then it is also loose at slow acceleration which destroys your mileage. I had a TCI that was loose and was getting 14mpg avg and 15.8 when i really tried.
Swapped to a Circle D and it feels stock and normal driving and is getting me 17mpg. Once you get into the throttle to really go it stalls up where you want it.

I've owned Yanks, PI's and am about to go pick up my new CircleD on Monday. The PI was definitely loose compared to the Yank. My 3000 PI felt identical to my 3600 Yank. And from what I hear, the CircleD stalls right where you want it. I'm excited to find out, especially given my new setup
