If you've got it out, I say pull the pan and have a look, if all looks well, do the shift kit, keeping an eye out for something sketchy. Put it back together and run it, don't forget to clean out your existing trans cooler and whatever lines you end up keeping on the install!


btw, your Tahoe is absolutely badass. I love it on so many levels.

Yes 4wd will be all removed, it has not been used in years anyway.

Thanks! I will be tearing the transmission apart this weekend coming up to see how it looks. Now i need to decide if I want a HD@ shiftkit or one from jakes performance.
