well its in!!. Started sat. morning, finished up that nite. Thanks to Charlie for comin over and givin me a hand. I can tell a diffrence, really havent beat on it yet, my exhaust isnt on completely yet, so its LOUD. Been keepin an eye on my tranny fluid, drove it sunday about 5 miles, and checked fluid, added 1/2 qt, then last nite i drove it anoher 5 miles, checked fluid, and had to add 1 qt. Luckily i didnt beat on it while fluid was low, i was told these 60e's are unforgiving. Will keep yall updated, putting in some 8.1 injectors, and Charlie is doing a wideband on it thursday nite!!! Should be fun, Thanks again Charlie, i really appriciate your help and advise.

It took me awhile to do mine but mine is 4x4 and it was my first time doing it. I pretty much had no idea what i was doing when i started. Another member was guiding me through the instal by text messaging lol. Make sure you fill it up with at least 1 quart of fluid and make sure the converter is fully seated (1 1/8" from the bellhousing to the converter pads). Then when you bolt the trans back up measure the distance between the flexplate and converter converter pads. It should be between 1/16 - 3/16. If its more than 3/16 then you'll need to shim it.
I'd also pick up a shift kit if you dont already have one.

Billy,
Chris seems very customer oriented & up front. If his convertors are like his words, you'll be happy. Now, if he'd just do a 4L60E group buy or knock off say, $100 or so... Say sometime in the next year.
