Default Picking Yank Converter

What I'm trying to decide is not really what RPM stall speed (looking at a 3200RPM stall to go with my future cam plan), but rather what version of converter to actually buy.

Looking on Yank's site they list a BUNCH of different versions (truck versions, F-body street strip, full race, blah blah, and so on).

On the surface it would "seem" that I would buy a "truck version" but then I look at the argument that there are more options and the price is less for the f-body versions.

Then I notice they make some 10" and 8" converters....

So what do I really need? I also noticed a 3 clutch lockup option which sounded good to me.

edit: one other question... "I thought the 4L60 and 4L80 used the same converter." yes/no?

SS3200 here, but it was only supported for NON-towing apps. I don't plan on towing with this truck. If you pull anything over 4000lbs more often than never, I would definitely look into the Truck Thruster series. The internals are slightly different b/t the SS & TT versions. I certainly wouldn't attempt to put an F-body converter in my truck. That seems like I'd be asking for trouble b/c of weight and load on the converter.

As said previously, call Dave and discuss what your overall plans are for your vehicle. He will recommend what he believes would be right for your application.
