Default Pinion

In the old days we usually set the pinion at -4*
when drag racing. as to try to keep it level with the
ground under power. it keeps from blowing U-Joints
and throwing out DS.

-4 degrees is the target angle that most Nascar teams shoot for also.

Don't know if this is any help, had it a long time.
I had to play around after i lowered mine. it has
a 2 pc DS. used a 4* shim to get it right.
The CalTrac's do a great job of holding the
rear in place.
