Not exactly. RPM of the driveshaft, gears and wheels/tires will be different than RPM of the motor, depending on what drive gear is engaged.

and I am only talking in relation to the motor and driveshaft. At 1:1, anybody who does 140mph on 3.73's and then goes to 4.xx is in for a real big surprise and dirty pants when they do 140mph again on the same shaft as before.Might get lucky a few times...but if you have a stock one piece...at 70+"'s, hold on, it's gonna get bumpy.

I took mine to 127mph @ 6450 rpm with 4.10's and 28" tires while Daniel was logging it. I've raced on the street and according to the other guy we did about 140mph. I've 4 deg shims but still would like to know more about where I stand. I would hate to be in Daniels shoes. Going to 4.10's has not been cheap for him at all. The good thing is that his truck didn't loose control. He was doing about 120mph.
Hey Dan, maybe you need to put a limiter on my truck to like 115-120mph. I keep telling myself I ain't taking it too high but once there I always end up saying "F@*K it and wind up risking it.
