Got the truck on the lift today. Ran up to 70 + (talk about nervous) vibrated. Took the wheels off, Still same thing, so that rules out the tires, also did front to rears, rears to front. I also used and ipod touch with a level on it (dont know how accurate) but it said pinion was up 2.2*

The real tool should be here monday or tuesday so i can check again.

Lucky,I did remove the drive shaft to give me more room on the rear end to cut old saddle pads off for c'notch clearance. How many degrees were you off.i am going to check tommorow.

2005,I just did all the tire rotating too.Im hoping the pinion shims help it.

Measure driveshaft and came up with 2*,then removed driveshaft and measured yolk and came up with -3*.So do i need a 1* shim, and if so 1* can cause the bed to shake that much.
Dustin how did you make out?

Pinion angle was at 2* shimmed it up to about 4*. Vibration now starts lightly at 85 and is rediculous by 100. Should be ok for the track now with the 150 shot.

how is vibration ok? you should get it where theres none. 4* positive is not where you want to be. under acceleration and obviously higher speeds the axle will continue raising up untill it breaks. it needs to be -2* - 0*

I went to 0 and the vibration was at all speed and constant. And also that comment was meant more as humor...like drive it till the vibration brakes the problem.
